Meso – and MORE!

A recognised private college with the same exam boards as local colleges, Meso & More Training Academy have now opened on the first floor of the Meridian Shopping Centre.

Courses are privately funded by the individuals undertaking them, and for those learners that don’t suit large classrooms or busy environments, Meso & More can tailor make lessons to suit their learners.

With new regulations and restrictions looming in the Health & Beauty industry over the coming years, Meso & More are offering the chance to gain recognised qualifications to enable technicians to future proof their own businesses.

They train:

  • Hair
  • Beauty
  • Holistic Therapies
  • Aesthetics
  • Training others in these categories

They also hope to soon be providing functional skills to help those struggling to gain employment without English or Maths qualifications.

With over 30 years in the hair and beauty industry and a teaching background spanning over 25 years, Shelley decided to launch her own training academy Jan 2020.  Previously the owner of 2 salons and 1 spa specialising in many different treatment areas alongside a children’s pamper party business, Shelley had left the industry to home educate her autistic daughter, but now she is back to educate others.

Alongside running Meso and More Training Academy Ltd, Shelley has another company called The Teacher Trainer Qualification International. This company helps qualified professionals become teachers and educators. Shelley has students all over the world.

For more information, visit the Meso and More website, or pop into the unit on the first floor at Meridian Shopping Centre.
