When you’ve visited Meridian, you might have had a chance to enjoy listening to some delightful piano playing – thanks to a generously donated piano from Postcode Publications, and the wonderfully talented players who regularly visit to ‘tickle the ivories’.
The donation bucket on top of the piano attests to the popularity of the playing and to the generosity of the listeners. Over the years, many thousands of pounds have been donated, benefiting a number of charities – see our list of charities here.
This September, we’re supporting Chestnut Tree House and Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity with ‘One Great Piano Playing Week‘. All the monies raised in this week will be split evenly and donated to these charities, so if you’re visiting the centre, please give as generously as you are able to.
