Havant Town Centre is set to get a new banking hub, delivered by Cash Access UK, a not-for-profit supported by the major high street banks. The hub will offer cash withdrawals, deposits, bill payments, and cheque services, plus a community banker for more complex queries.
Councillor Phil Munday said: “With Lloyds Bank closing in West Street, this is fantastic news for our residents and local businesses.”
Councillors highlight the hub’s importance for those who prefer in-person banking and for boosting footfall and support for local shops.
The opening date is yet to be confirmed, but the hub is a major step in making banking accessible for everyone while supporting the town centre’s ongoing regeneration.
